Wakey Wakey! You’d be visiting a lot of places on the second day of your stay. Time wasting would be nothing less than a sin. Start your day with the imperial Colosseum.  This mammoth of a monument was famous for gladiator battles, like animal fights, mock sea battles, etc. If you have seen the movie Gladiator, you can picture what it was like during the days back here in the Colosseum.

Book a flight to Rome.

Not to mention, it is also one of the most oldest and historic stadiums in the world with almost a capacity of hosting whooping number of 80,000 spectators in that era. It’s a worldwide accepted fact that Romans were fierce and you’d soon realise that once you’d step in the Colosseum. You’d feel like you are one of the swordsmen battling out there.

Tip:  Moreover, arriving early will give you a leg up in the ticket section. However if not early morning, try to visit the Colosseum during the night time. It is an otherworldly sight.

You’d see that with tall pillars and buildings and arches, etc. Although, these are mostly ruins of the beautiful architectural knowledge the Romans possessed but there’s more than what meets the eye. Some of the highlights include the Arch of Septimius Severus, Temple of Castor and Pollex, and Temple of Antoninus Pius.

The end is here and we hate telling you that. We’d suggest that you start your third and last day in Rome by visiting the Borghese Gallery. This is the place that provokes your brain to go beyond its ability to think, so to speak. In other words, the place is an absolute paradise for art lovers. Even the main building is a work of the great architect Flaminio Ponzio. All in all, the place reflects the Roman Renaissance in some style.

Most Bizarre & Forbidden Places In The World!

Discover Rome on a different light with a place called the Roman Catacombs. This place will urge you to think that you’re in that era. Piazza Navona is a spot where you can actually live amidst this ancient city and watch the three regal Baroque fountains. The place is the home of the celebrated ice-cream dessert, Tartufo. Furthermore, you can always try it around there. You’d be enjoying its taste until your way back to the airport.
