7 Days Of Arctic Fun- A Finland Vacation Is All You Need In 2018
If you think travel is dangerous, try routine, it’s lethal. This quote always excites me because it defines almost everything cool, random and exciting that travel spills into your life! Now, if you’ve been following us over here, today we are journeying together to the coolest destination on planet earth. Finland! Excited, are we? You’d be amazed to see how white and icy Finland can be at times. Literally Icy! Bet your bottom dollar on this one. This land is so damn fascinating that it inveigles me to visit the Mighty Arctic Wilderness and the Northern lights even in my dreams sometimes. So, the best I could do is come up with an itinerary so that your Finland vacation can be just as wild and icy as you want it to be!
Finland Vacation- Day 1- Helsinki
Now that you are in Finland, I’d like you to just admire the Finnish beauty because you won’t find such hot blondes and beautiful people elsewhere! Almost all of Finland is well connected just like the rest of Europe. You could grab a train or a bus to simply gallivant around this Nordic nation without your hands above your head. Rent a car if you don’t really fancy public transport, but I’d suggest the former any day. The good news is that Wi-Fi is everywhere to help you out, so, you won’t be lost for much longer.
If you happen to be here any time, you can’t miss a visit to the World’s First Ever GOT Hotel!
Travel across the capital state, Helsinki which lies on the Gulf of Finland. Helsinki is indubiously the most gorgeous and serene state with dozens of green parks and beautiful islands. Not to mention, Helsinki doesn’t like to sleep much. So, go on and conquer the dark without batting an eyelid, Helsinki’s several bars, restaurants and nightclubs will turn on their lights for you!
Finland Vacation-Day 2-Kakslauttanen
We aren’t all done yet, but then, let’s get a hang of what else is around. So, your next stop becomes Kakslauttanen. You can reach Kakslauttanen by a flight that will land you in Ivalo. My little tip would be that you arrange your airport pickup beforehand, it will save you time if nothing else.
You want to get everything right, as it’s about to get even more nerve-wrecking out there as the Arctic wilderness awaits you! This is the place to spend the night if you are dying to witness the Northern lights exponentially; all you gotta do is find yourself a private igloo to spend the night underneath the magical northern stars.
If you don’t mind spending on a luxurious experience, book a glass igloo at the Kakslauttanen luxurious resort and be rest assured, you will enjoy the Northern magic at its best.
Finland Vacation- Day 3- Truckload of Adventure
Wake up already, you have no time! It’s time to book yourself an adventure finally! Adventure tours are the best thing about Finland, you’d realise that eventually. You can go out in the cold and indulge in a lot of fun in Finland. And you got to try it all out because you won’t be doing this anywhere else, trust me.
Go sledging with the huskies, snowmobiling for a rickety ouchy ride and if you still aren’t satiated enough, go hunting in the icy wilderness, who knows the Snow Queen might be just waiting to say hello?? eh? When feeling beat, lay under the stars for yet another magical night!
Day 4 – Finland Vacation- A Trip to the Arctic Hotel
Okay, hold your breath before you enter here because you might just freeze to death! Well, not really! The Arctic Hotel is famous for gorgeous glass igloos. These glass igloos are quintessential when in Finland. The Ice Hotel has bunch of unusual activities to keep you busy and your eyebrows raised all day. For instance, the ice restaurant has special dining made out of ice, and you will be sleeping in one of the ice suites on an icy bed! Not to mention, this Ice Hotel has the infamous Snow Jacuzzi and Snow Sauna. Now, you must know a Finland vacation is absolutely undone without a Finnish sauna. Trust me when I say, this experience will be picture framed in your mind for a long long time!

Furthermore, after experiencing the wonderland i.e. the Lapland, you can trot a bit more in Helsinki for another couple of days. The city never disappoints even if you’re visiting it again, because you’re in for something futuristic every time. You can traverse across the illustrious highlights of Finland such as the archipelago of Helsinki that is home to around 330 islands.Tese islands are actually quite infamous for beautiful beach arrangements. Okay, not so clear? Let me drop you some specifics!
